Review 1 of 13

Price Paid:  $553.00 from Racenet.net

Year / Model Reviewed:
2000 mustang gt/NX stage 1-wet

Summary:
I can't compare the NX kit to others...never used others. But I can tell you that this kit ROCKS. Bought heater, remote opener, timing adjuster, rpm window switch, and common switchboard...oh! not to forget a bus load of NX "power boost" gas additive. I had the kit professionally installed by a local raceshop in about 4hours. Let the boys who KNOW nitrous do the work(jmo), pick their brains while you're at it. Did my homework (a must). Results? Stock/minor bolt-ons/exhaust...229 rwhp,285 rwtq. 100 shot (you gotta be kidding me)337 rwhp, 491 rwtq! Couldn't stand it, had to go for 150. Ready? 394 rwhp, 549 rwtq with only 1 degree of retard!!! That my friends is no BS. I almost passed out myself. These numbers were backed up at a second dynolab just to make sure. Also, do your math here, these results far exeeded advertised power gains. A/F ratios were awesome(even a little rich still),plugs are great, high quality system, everything as advertised and more. Now, if I could just keep from roasting my $350 Michelins. I guess a small price to pay:) Respect the gas and you too will be dusting Corvettes and those pesky Camaros. peace.

Strengths:
Seems of high quality. Good tech support. Shots are rated at the wheels. Bottle heater is much better than any competitor. I'm gettin' 1000psi with 10lbs or 3lbs. My buddy's Zex heater seems to only get to 850-900.

Weaknesses:
Only the inherent risks of using nitrous. Do your homework with ANY kit.

Price Paid:  $550.00 from jegs

Year / Model Reviewed:
1996 Ford Mustang Cobra

Summary:
hey there ricers. I bought this kit and slapped in the 100 shot right off the bat then jumped to the 150 shot. I have the bottle heater without you will not get the best hit that you could. motor plus nitrous I put 475 to the ground. The kit is the best one out there the other guy....I seen the nos kits noids the are very cheap looking and fail very often and need rebuilt constantly.

Strengths:
wet kit for cheap. well built noids.

Weaknesses:
doesnt come with a pressure gauge it should atleast come with that.

Price Paid:  $300.00 from got the hook up.. :)

Year / Model Reviewed:
 NX stage one kit

Summary:
i bought this as a basic kit, but then wisely i got all the goodys to go with it. this is a awsome starter kit for the novice turner. the install time is about 6-8 hours but well worth it.

Strengths:
this kit with the bottle heater gives great power...with the 75 pills in it, it gave me an extra 86Hp and 104Lbs of torque to the wheels!!!! need i say more.. :)

Weaknesses:
cheap mirco-switch for the trottle... recomend the TPS switch.. about 90 bucks.

Similar Products Used:
venom vcn2000- great product, but very expencive...recomend for all out drag cars.

Year / Model Reviewed:
 nitrous express stage one kit

Summary:
This is a good product. twin turbo on a del slow? you must be some white boy that just watched the fast and the furious and now you think your a damn racer don't you? I wish i could beat the s*** out of all you fake racers out there.Trying to do what we have been doing for years, way before fast and the furious came out you people are making it look bad. And on another note your del slow will never be fast. Get a real car son. Like a toyota or a nissan. Honda sucks. I'm a import guy but i'd rather buy a mustang before i buy a honda. Honda's are a cheap pos car that makes imports look bad. Race me and get killed out here son!
