The Paxton Supercharger uses a gearless centrifugal compressor which is belt driven off of the crankshaft and runs cool. This means:
intercooling is not required or recommended; no heat shields are required; you use your stock engine oil with the same oil change
intervals because the Paxton utilizes a unique self-contained lubrication system; you can keep your exhaust system stock with no
modifications required; no inconvenient idle down periods are required; engine servicing remains the same as stock thanks to its
compact design; and because the Paxton is belt-driven off of the crankshaft youíll get almost instantaneous boost. Kits available for most American cars.
