Volkswagen Routan Minivans | Wagons

DESCRIPTION

The Routan is Volkswagen's minivan offering that has enough space for up to seven adults and their belongings. New for 2011, all Routans are powered by a new 3.6L engine mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. This combination pumps out 283 HP and 260 lbs-ft. of torque. EPA estimates fuel economy to be 17 mpg city and 25 mpg highway.

With amenities similar to home theater and a maximum towing capacity of 3,600 pounds, the 2011 Routan is capable of taking you there and back again without leaving anything behind. To accommodate the needs to today's families, the Routan has no less than 13 cupholders, 12V power outlets and an available 115V AC outlet, a multitude of storage compartments throughout the entire cabin.

With the third row seat stowed and the 2nd row seats removed, the Routan has 144 cubic feet of available cargo space. Featuring dual power sliding doors and a flat loading surface, loading up the Routan becomes a simple task.

The Routan is offered in seven trim levels with pricing starting under $27,000, making it standout in the segment a true driver’s minivan.
