I had Geico from 200-2010. Finances hit. Couldn't pay the lease payment or insurance. They made me pay until the car was picked up that I gave up, a car I wasn't and couldn't drive because it didn't work. What sense is there paying insurance on a car you can't drive! Then they illegally threatened to take my license. I had them for 10 years and they were great until they held the economy against me. NEVER had a claim. NEVER had an accident. When I ever get another car, Geico will not be ones to consider even though they said c'mon back.

I received gift cards for the holidays, used several of them to pay a months worth of my policy. The next month I went to make a payment online and find that my policy has been blocked from online access for 6 months!!! Ridiculous!!! You pay them and they get mad and lock you out of online access...really? Unbelievable. If their insurance wasn't so much less expensive than others I would move my policy just for that.

Nothing! I'm shocked to see a company like this can afford commercials with the kind of customer service that was provided to me!!! They forgot to fill out a form which led me to getting arrested, being treated like a criminal, and having to pay an extra $780. I highly recommend finding a different insurance company!!!!!!!!!

GEICO IS ABSOLUTLY THE WORST INSURANCE AGENCY I'VE EVER DONE BUSINESS WITH!!!!!! THEY DIDN'T SAVE ME 15%, THEY COST ME OVER200%!!!!!!!!!! THEY MADE A MISTAKE AND SAID ITS MY PROBLEM!!! ABSOLUTLY HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SATISFACTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Was with geico for 14 years, never had a accident, or ticket, the last 2 years they have increased my rate by 10%-20%.

NEVER NEVER NEVER!!!!!!!Geico has taken a car accident on a car that worth under $3,000 and separated it into several claims; each estimate for repair on each claim is just under my deductible. This makes it so my car will cost me more than its worth to get fixed. And Geico pays NOTHING. The adjuster Chris Landry was rude and didn’t listen when I informed him this was one accident. I told him I had spoken with a police officer and a CHP officer (who recreated accidents) and they agree this should be a single claim. Geico clearly is the worst insurance’s. I am a 100% disabled veteran and this is how they treat people. I have learned my lesson. Stay away if you are looking for coverage. The insurance isn't worth the paper it is printed on. They con you into full coverage on a car that isn't worth much and when you need to use it they find a way to not pay. I hope someone can learn from my hard knocks. I lost about $3000.00 not including the waste in payments I made for insurance.

Avoid Geico like the plague. We had a claim, and they did everything ethical and unethical to try to get us to leave them alone. We were not at fault, and even when we sent copies of the law, they still wouldn't pay, and played games with us. We've been trying to send the same fax for 2 weeks because they keep claiming they didn't get it, and each time we call, they dump on us for trying to send them anything at all.

It's clear that this behavior is encouraged because it's consistent across all agents we've dealt with.

I can't imagine what it must be like to work for them, and actively lie and cheat people for a living.

I guess low rates will only get you so far until you get into a car accident, then you are screwed!
Got into a car accident on Friday, called the claim service the same day. They assigned an agent, and the agent didn't call me back until the following Wednesday.
Then I have to deal with the other person's insurance company myself to get my car repair, Geico didn't do a thing to help me. (Thankfully, the other person’s insurance company was more pleasant to deal with.)
And whenever I call my agent, he never answers his phone. It got so frustrating that I sent a complaint thru Geico web site. Then the next day, got an angry voicemail from my agent, basically yelling at me on the phone. Yeah, so 15 minutes could save you a lot of money, but you will also be treated like crap. So if you ask me, it's really NOT worth the saving.

They just attract people with lower quotes. and at the time of sign up they gonna apply lots more discounts. and once you sign up they gonna take it out those discounts with out any notice. and they gonna say that sorry we can't offer any other discounts. thats all they gonna say. So dont go with geico even if they provide you lower quotes.

Geico Sucks!!!! they help me set up my policy, well now 7 year later I had an accident, they did not advised me to take collision or towing so my car is totaled and i have even to pay for the towing, and by the way becuase my car was the second on the accident the damage i cause to the thrid car is not cover by them. WE AWARE

GO WITH SOMEONE THAT WILL ADVISED YOU BETTER
