Review 2 of 44

Price Paid:  $25000.00 from Jegs

Year / Model Reviewed:
 Edelbrock 500cfm

Strengths:
They look good!

Weaknesses:
These carbs don't seem to last 2 years without a big headache.

Summary:
Hello, Does anyone have a good remedy to stop carburetor from wanting to cut off going around turns? This is my second Edelbrock in 3 years, both having the same problems. I tried cleaning it good while running and had no luck. Eveything was fine until I added Marvels to the gas tank as a preventative. Live and learn! I replaced the inline fuel filter prior to cleaning, still had no luck. Any help or good advice would be appreciated.

Sent it back got another one, not as many metal shavings but after 1 1/2 yrs and who knows how many rebuilds and gas in my oil pan, "to hell with edelbrock"
