Review 1 of 8

Price Paid:  $864.00 from Big 10 Tires Callawa

Year / Model Reviewed:
2006 Bridgestone Dueler A/T

Summary:
Had the tires for 1 week, already had them re-balanced 4 times, Dodge dealer finalyy discovered all 4 tires are out of round. Should have known something was up when the dealer said there was a 30 day return gurantee.

Strengths:
I like the tread design.

Weaknesses:
Poor craftsmanship I guess, who's to blame?

Similar Products Used:
Cooper Tires.......going back to them.

Review 2 of 8

Price Paid:  $0.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
 1994 Acura Legend

Summary:
Bought the car with these tires on it. My guess is they had approximately half the tread left. On my way back from Las Vegas the right rear tire separated. Upon returning home, I immediately purchased a new set of Toyo tires. When I took the old tires off, two additional tires were separating. Immediately after mounting my new tires I took my car to a shop for a four wheel alignment thinking that may be a problem. The alignment was almost perfect, so I know that wasn't responsible for the tire separation. I would NEVER put these tires on my car.

Strengths:
None that I know of.

Weaknesses:
Read review summary.

Review 3 of 8

Price Paid:  $90.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
 2001/Revo H

Summary:
I have been very impressed with Bridgestone's Turanza Revos. Originally, my car had Michelin MXV4 Plus tires. What really impressed me with my car was how well the car's ABS worked-- especially in the rain. However, I did notice the Michelins would often begin to chirp or slide when accelerating or taking turns-- in the industry they are known as eco-squealers. Since I have had the ReVos, I have not noticed the ABS working since the tires grip so well; the traction is truly amazing. I have read many of the negative comments concerning this tire and absolutely disagree. For some reason, many reviews seem confused as to what a Grand Touring tire is or isn't. Grand Touring tires are not well suited for snow/ice nor are they the same type of tire as something like a high mileage Michelin X1. Grand Touring tires blend good performance for basically three seasons. However, if this type of tire is of interest to you I highly recommend them mine have been and remain round. If want to find out more about Revos are Grand Touring tires see...
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tests/bs_revo_rd.htm

Strengths:
Great Traction-- especially on wet roads. The tires generate very little road noise.

Weaknesses:
Increased traction means increased rolling resistance.

Similar Products Used:
Michelin's Energy MXV4 Plus gripped significantly worse in rain and actually wore out faster-- mine lasted only 38K miles. The Turanza Revo's are superior.

Review 5 of 8

Price Paid:  $600.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
 2000 Subaru Forester

Summary:
Paid over 600.00 for a set of 225x55x17..............
wouldn't recommend these tires.........good concept with the 'dual' layers of rubber compound, but in reality.......well, that is another story.

Strengths:
Great concept design, but for 'real world' performance, this is not the tire it is made out to be.
Handling was good when new, sound level was less than Goodyear LS tires.

Weaknesses:
Had a very difficult time balancing all four tires.
Took car in 4 times, with each technician giving different opinions as to what the problem was........they never blamed the tire, only said my rims were out of round!!!.........and the rims were new............

Similar Products Used:
Goodyear LS...........Goodyears are great in the snow, but a bit noisy on dry.........also the mileage on the Goodyears was only around 30k.
