Strengths:
Blazer came with Long Trail T/A. I have had two sets. They were quiet, I got 70,000 miles a set. Great traction,smooth ride.

Weaknesses:
I can't find them. Replaced them with Yokohoma Geolander and I hate them. Ride hard,slide too easily.

Summary:
I am now looking for a new set of Long Trail T/A to put back on my Blazer.

2007 BF Goodrich Long Trail TA

Strengths:
Looked nice when first purchased, fairly quiet at first and decent ride at first.

Weaknesses:
Began to wear very quickly(within the first two months), with wear came loud road noise, began checking on outer edge within months and consequently the ride became rough.

Summary:
For such highly rated tires I cannot ever see buying another BF Goodrich set of tires regardless of the model. I bought a complete set and find myself having to replace them after just a years time. I mean they are shot(checked, very thin tread after a year. I had these tires rotated and balanced per manufactureres recommendations and nothing would help stop the etremely quick wear of these BF Goodrich tires.

Similar Products Used:
Bridgestone and Michelin tires. Initially had Micheling tires on the truck and got great and extended use of these tires. Have Bridgestone tires on another SUV and they are a great ride and and appear to be wearing very well at this time.

Strengths:
Good on dry or if stuck in mud

Weaknesses:
Horrable on gravel and wet smooth had back tire spin off rim on gravel on 04 dodge durango and almost roll and only lasted me 27000 miles all on city

Summary:
Good for lighter suvs and trucks

2010 BF Goodrich Long Trail T/A Tires

Strengths:
Appreciable Road noise reduction and smoother ride.

Weaknesses:
Noticable reduction in fuel efficiency from 27.8 to 25.6 MPG on 2007 Honda CRV.

Summary:
Glad about the reduced road noise, but buyer beware on the rather dramatic decrease in fuel consumption. Not sure if a lifetime drain on pocketbook is worth less noise.

Strengths:
longevity
even wear
excellent tire

Weaknesses:
i have noticed some slight slip in wet conditions.

Summary:
tires came on truck in 2001 and i just had them replaced yesterday after 81,000 miles. i think they could have made it another 10,000 miles, but i didn't see any point in stretching them out. great tires!!
