Review 1 of 6

Price Paid:  $0.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
2001 Corolla

Summary:
Cooper Trendsetter SE. I bought 4 tires in March 07 for $70 each. In Jun 07 I discovered that one of the tires had a bubble on the side. Back to where I bought them and we found a second tire with the tread pulling off. Today I discovered a 3rd tire, this one had a bubble on the surface. 3 out of 4 tires bad, scary bad. And the wear is poor. They look like they have twice as many miles as they have. There's no way they would last 40,000 miles.

Review 3 of 6

Price Paid:  $42.00 from SAHISA; Ensenada, B.

Year / Model Reviewed:
2003 Trendsetter SE

Strengths:
Wet grip: +++++ Dry grip : +++++ noise level : ++++ soft ride : ++++

Weaknesses:
As I got them just recently I only can say : None so far. Should I have to buy tires right now for an other car, I think I would go for the same tires. I hope they are going to last for 45000 miles.

Summary:
Very good grip as well on wet road. Performing as good or better as some expensive tires. I dislike tires not performing well on wet roads. This tires are VERY GOOD on wet roads. I'm using them on a VW Vanagon in the following size: P 205 /75 R 14

Similar Products Used:
Higher priced tires of other brands with not better performance.

Review 4 of 6

Price Paid:  $0.00 from Il.

Year / Model Reviewed:
 95

Strengths:
Quiet, treadwear is excellent.

Summary:
Have more than 50,000 miles on these tires. The treadwear is minimal. I could put 10,000 more miles on these tires easy. I was suprised at the value, cheap price but solid performance.

Review 5 of 6

Price Paid:  $40.00 from Local mechanic

Year / Model Reviewed:
 92 Ford Ranger

Strengths:
Quiet, Very good grip even in rain, Cheap. An true anomoly in a product that traditionally gives you what you pay for.

Weaknesses:
Low tread wear rating ~40K miles.

Summary:
Bought these tires because they were cheap and I needed to replace my tires on an old "beater" that I didn''t intend to have a whole lot longer. These tires really surprised me. They gave a quiet, comfortable ride and very good grip. The back end of the pickup never broke loose or spun out, even on wet pavement, unlike the tires they replaced. With the Trendsetters I would routinely look down to learn I was going 75 with no complaints what so ever from the tires or vehical (the old tires were down right dangerous above 70 or so). To me, the most amazing thing is this performance came on a pickup truck, not something particularly known for good handling or a good ride, yet these tires did just that in this environment. Unfortunately the truck expired when the tires were six months old so I can not tell you how they perform as they wear (hey, that''s like the Cooper commercial!).

Similar Products Used:
Firestone FR860(??), which cost ~3x what the Trendsetters did.
