Summary:
These tires work excellent for my needs. I drive aggressively in a large-heavy car. The Eagle GT II grips great when cornering and is GOOD in wet conditions (on a front wheel drive car). If you have a rear-drive vehicle, get a tire with a lower tread wear number. Remember, long tread life and EXCELLENT wet traction are mutually exclusive... you can't have both. They are particularly good in mud and snow. I go camping frequently and had to climb a muddy mountain road. The wheeles never broke loose.

Strengths:
Good looking, a great value, long tread life, strong cornering,excellent mud/snow traction and good wet traction on front drive vehicles.

Weaknesses:
Rear drive vehicle owners need to choose a different tire. A tire with a tread wear number of over 400 has more difficulty griping in wet conditions than a tire with a tread wear of around 200. You exchange tread life for a "stickier-softer" rubber. Remember, you can't have both!

Summary:
They are a great looking tire, but that''s where I draw the line. The stock tire size on this truck is 275/60/17. I would not recommend this tire for a truck at all! I have a few performance modifications on the truck, and they break loose with the pedal only pressed about halfway. I have to drive a little slower than I normally would to keep out of dangerous situations.

Strengths:
Like I said before, they are a great looking tire. They also have decent dry handling, and are quiet at highway speeds.

Weaknesses:
Almost no traction, wet or dry! They hydroplane badly! The first time I drove with them in a rainstorm, I thought I was going to end up in the ditch. I was going 35 to 40 mph at the time. This could be becuse of the 275 width, but I found it to be a very scary driving experience. They are probably better for a FWD vehicle, something with weight on the drive wheels.

ive got a big 360 engine in my indy. they are an awesome tire for dry conditions but when it rains holy crap its scary. today i just ordered some new falkens and i sure hope they are better cause these suck.

Strengths:
good for dry conditions. wear good

Weaknesses:
suck in rain. wont stick at all

havent really used a performance tire before. i had a/t baja widetracks on my jeep and i think nothing compares to them for a big treaded tire

http://ist05.ma.psu.edu/~cbj110/xtreme.mpg let me know what you think, drmrex@hotmail.com all and all I liked these tires, they came stock with my truck, they handle pretty well, but they can get slipper in the rain, one example: I was crousing around with my friends and we were doing 4 wheel slides around turns, not the smartest of ideas, i had it perfect so i decided to carry it, i recoverd, but as soon as they got hot they were like riding on ice.

Strengths:
Good traction in wet a dry weather, very quite, even when leaving trails of smoke, long life when treated right.

Weaknesses:
Burn off quick, they're slippery when htey get hot

Similar Products Used:
Falken Ziex, Harder compound, don't like the rain, but grip pretty good in dry weather, don't let you know where their limit is they just go all at once.

Summary:
Good bang for the buck...A good tire for a light sports car. Holds the road like tar

Strengths:
Great traction on wet and dry conditions. Sporty, low profile look. Great tread wear.

Weaknesses:
The make quite a bit of road noise.
