Price Paid:  $475.00 from sears

Year / Model Reviewed:
2008 chrysler town and country

Strengths:
great handling, quiet

Weaknesses:
pricey

Summary:
the tires are great, as soon as they were put on the care, we noticed the van had greater stability and handling around turns. Quiet ride, smooth. We have had so many brands of tires and always come back to michelin despite the price tag.

Price Paid:  $700.00 from Discount Tire

Year / Model Reviewed:
2005 Honda Pilot

Strengths:
NOISY

Weaknesses:
NOISY

Summary:
STAY AWAY FROM THESE TIRES!!!!!!These tires were great at the start(quiet), and now with no unusual wear they have began increasingly noisy, we called Michelin and they offered us a 25% credit toward the purchase of a new set, these tires only have 21,000 miles on them with 4/32 tread worn off, which leaves 7/32 tread. That offer was insulting, they are supposed to have the best tires on the market, and maybe so, unless you have an issue, then they really don't concern themselves with help the customer. I will never recommend Michelin as a tire brand again.

Year / Model Reviewed:
2008 Rav 4

Strengths:
Long life, great performance, great service and a manufacturer that has a warranty for the product and stands behind it.

Weaknesses:
None to mention. Looking forward to getting new tires when the time comes.

Summary:
I could have paid over $1,000.00 for these tires at Sears and was very happy to find them at Costco for such a huge savings. We have three vehicles, two Toyotas and a Porsche. All of the cars have Michelins on them and the RAV just go the new Latitude Tours. We live in the country and have a mix of weather from rain, snow to dry. Gravel roads to boot. The Michelins are the best tires whether for all of these vehicles. We have never had any problems with the tires and will never get another brand. I read another review on this site that didn't have much good to say for the tire, but our experience has been completely the opposite.

Review 4 of 4

Price Paid:  $800.00 from American Tire

Year / Model Reviewed:
1999 Jeep Cherokee

Strengths:
NONE

Weaknesses:
ALL

Summary:
Worst tire ever made. After 8000 miles the right front tire fell apart. My wife called me on the phone and I could hear it flapping while she was driving. We had called Michelin about the Michelin® Latitude® Tour making noise on all 4 tires. We also had American tire check the tires. American tire said they were cupping and Michelin said they did not cover road noise and wanted us to pay 60% for new tires that would fall apart. Also we have had the car checked by the Jeep dealer who said the Car was fine and it was the tires. We have every Check up on the jeep since new the car is in A+ Condition. The Michelin® Latitude® Tour in my opinion is the worst tire ever made and Michelin or American Tire did not care for our safety and did not want to admit they made one set of bad tires.

Cross Terrain was a better tire. We will never buy Michelin again Poor Customer service.
