Price Paid:  $22000.00 from Fox at Norwich

Year / Model Reviewed:
2004 Jaguar S type 2.7 turbo

Strengths:
Great car

Weaknesses:
Pirelli 6000p tyres fitted

Summary:
these tyres tend to bulge on the walls after less than a 1000mls. When I pointed this out to Pirelli Tyres Technical Centre, that this was the second time this has happened Bulging on the inside and the outside on two different accasions they said I must have caused a fold on the tyre this is a rubbish remark as I deal with the refurbishment of wheels
Conclusion:- Drive safely Don't fit Pirelli 6000P

Review 2 of 16

Price Paid:  $320000.00 from Prestige Auto

Year / Model Reviewed:
2004 BMW 325i

Strengths:
Quiet, hugs the road

Weaknesses:
They deform easily

Summary:
The Pirelli 6000's came with the car, which I purchased new. After 12 months I began experiencing what I would describe as a whiring sound and found out the 2 front tires were out of round. The manufacturer offered very little support. I received one new tire and had to use my spare. Now I have experienced the an issue with my rear tire, which literally came apart at a very low speed while in commute traffic. The local tire company advised purchasing new Michelins as their record with Pirelli has been dismal.

Review 3 of 16

Price Paid:  $180.00 from OEM

Year / Model Reviewed:
2001 Audi S4

Strengths:
Good in wet

Weaknesses:
TERRIBLE side walls weakness.

Summary:
I drive in the New York City vicinity; this past year I have replaced 5 tires (225/40/17) due to sidewall bulges or tear. The last incident was caused by a small pothole that caused a bulge on the left front, and a sidewall tear on the left rear. Good on wet, but terrible on grooved roadways. On the tire dealer's suggestion I have replaced the front two tires with Pirelli "P-Zeros assymetricals"; I just learned from Audi that this was the wrong thing to do; they tell me that all four tires should be the same thread design due to the all-wheel drive. I welcome any advice!

Review 4 of 16

Price Paid:  $200.00 from Tiger Wheel And Tyre

Year / Model Reviewed:
2003 Pirelli P 6000

Strengths:
Run out and poor techincal advice from Pirelli.

Weaknesses:
That I bought these.

Summary:
This is my second set of Pirelli tyres, the first was a set of P7000's which were replaced (by Pirelli)after 3000km because they were out of round. Well the 6000's have the same problem after 17000km. They have 6mm of tread on them and I treat the well, so abuse was not the cause. I just think these are poor tyres. I had a set of GoodYear F1's, hell I miss them! 74000km and they were good when I removed them. I would only recommend these tyres if you want to experience the effects of runout or oval tyres, as for me; I prefer round tyres and will therefore NEVER buy these again.

Review 5 of 16

Price Paid:  $0.00

Strengths:
Grip in wet

Weaknesses:
Wear

Summary:
Just had the inside wall of one tire "bulge" out (evidently, I must have clipped a curb - not that I remember), so needed replacing - other fron was at 70% wear, therefore it got changed as well. Have done *all* of 26k KM's on them (OK, 9.3 Aero with a lot of torque), so feel let down with the wear. Positive point is grip - especially in the rain - excellent... Would look for something else next time simply due to the wear problem.
