Review 1 of 9 Year / Model Reviewed: 1981 DeLorean DMC-12 Summary: P195/60R14's Front P235/60R15's Rear
Good all-around tire for commuting, and driving hard. The tires grip the road very well. Very important when 65% of your car's weight is in the back (true rear-mounted engine. NOT transverse). If the tires do lose grip, they are quick to regain it. But if the tires are cold, watch out! When cold, these tires have a tendancy to slip on almost any surface, wet or dry. Braking hard @ 40 MPH, I spun my car 360°. Never had them in snow, but once warmed, they can grip very well on wet surfaces, and even a few inches of flood water. Strengths: Excelent grip when dry. good grip when wet. High speed rating Weaknesses: Can't hardly grip any surface when cold. I'm surprised they don't slide off my rims @ night in the wintertime. Similar Products Used: Goodyear NCT radials (20 years old, and rotten).
