Review 1 of 40

Price Paid:  $1000.00 from ??

Year / Model Reviewed:
1989 240SX

Summary:
Just bought these KYB's and read the posts. Obviously, with the warranty specifying 1.5" or less drop is a condition, why would anyone expect stellar performance otherwise. After I install them, I will post again. For now, I like what I read.

Strengths:
Great price and great reviews.

Weaknesses:
Unknown at this point

Similar Products Used:

Review 2 of 40

Price Paid:  $163.00 from The parts Ladi

Year / Model Reviewed:
2001 Ford Focus ZX3

Summary:
I have GR-2 struts and shocks paired with progress lowering springs and want to say it is one of the most neutral street cars(it like when you hit the setup right in a race car)I have ever been in now I need to get power adders to push this setup to its true potential with how much grip I have. The GR-2 has great ride quality despite being right above the tire.

Strengths:
Good ride quality and perfect dampening

Weaknesses:
None that I've found

Similar Products Used:
SVT suspension

Year / Model Reviewed:
2000 honda prelude

Summary:
These KYB GR-2s complimented my SKUNK2 coilovers well...They helped mostly to smooth out the ride and the ride height of my car...

Strengths:
Great for a suspention upgrade...smoother ride and helps lower your car when upgrading to coilovers...

Weaknesses:
none

Review 4 of 40

Price Paid:  $280.00 from Advanced Auto parts

Year / Model Reviewed:
2000 Infiniti QX4

Summary:
My shocks went out me a few weeks ago and ordered KYB after reading reviews. I did not want to spend a lot of money on them. I purchased the GR2 Front struts and the GR2 Rear Shocks. Very Smooth Ride, barely feel railroad tracks, went off road, and it does a fair job, its no Ranchos when it comes off road, but then again its not $200 each! The back shocks were very easy to put on, you must use air pressured wrench to get the screws out. The fronts were a pain to take out, took me about 2 and a half hours, but got the job done.

Strengths:
Smooth ride on the streets and highways, not too expensive

Weaknesses:
Would not recommend for off road.

Review 5 of 40

Price Paid:  $270.00 from I forgot

Year / Model Reviewed:
2000 Malibu

Summary:
So far I like my ride. I have eibach lowering springs and front and rear GR-2 struts. My ride quality has improved alot since I got rid of my "shot" struts I had for the longest time. I definently think that if you use springs that lower your car more than 1.5"inches then, you might be in for a rough ride.

Strengths:
Great ride quality, no more bottoming out from lowering springs.

Weaknesses:
None really.
