The 2009 Aveo5 is an entry-level 5-door, 5-passenger, hatchbackwagon, available in 3 trims, ranging from the LS to the LT2. The Aveo5 has a 4 Speed Automatic transmission, 1.6-liter I4, 106-horsepower engine, and receives exterior and interior updates for 2009. The Aveo5 name was adopted for the 5-door version when the Aveo was redesigned for 2007 just 2.5 years after it was first introduced. Aveo5 was designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro's Italdesign studios in Turin, Italy, and features a roomy interior and peppy performance.
