The 2008 Element is a 4-door, 4-passenger sport-utility, available in 10 trims, ranging from the LX 2WD 5-Spd MT to the SC 2WD 5-Spd AT. The Element has a 5 speed manual transmission, 2.4-liter I4, 166-horsepower engine, and is Honda’s interpretation of a crossover SUV which Honda describes as a multi-functional and versatile light-duty truck. The Element has a hard, flat floor like a pickup but is enclosed like an SUV, with side cargo doors and innovative seating to accommodate both passengers and cargo.
