2008 Mazda CX-9 - Overview

The 2008 CX-9 is a 4-door, 7-passenger sport-utility, available in 6 trims, ranging from the Sport FWD to the Grand Touring AWD. The CX-9 has a 6-speed automatic transmission, 3.7-liter V6, 270-horsepower engine, and has an intentional family resemblance to the CX-7, but it is not just a lengthened CX-7. The CX-9 offers easy access to the third-row seat with only one hand operation for an extra 26 inches of space between the folded second-row seat and the door opening. With discontinuation of the MPV minivan, the CX-9 becomes the family vehicle in the Mazda lineup.
