from Circuit City Year / Model Reviewed: 2004 Infinity Kappa 120.3SE Strengths: Cheap, very very clear, attractive, great balance of volume and sound quality (if run at RMS) Weaknesses: Low RMS, doesnt sound as good in a ported box, wont shake your car like some subs (could be a pro or a con) Summary: I recently bought two of these subs and I'm running them off a Infinity 610A mono amp. If your looking for earthquaking bump, these aren't your subs. But if you want enough bump for people to clearly hear you without sacrifing any sound quality at all, these are your babies. I tried them in a closed and ported box, and they seem to do their best in a small closed box. There is an excellent mix of loudness and clarity in these subs. They will get very loud, but not shaky enough to distort your mids and tweeters at high volume. They look very slick if you match them with anything silver, chrome, aluminum, etc. A VERY impressive subwoofer for the price. I would have expected to pay a lot more for the quality. Similar Products Used: Infinity 1230W subs, Alpine S subs, Kenwood subs
