Review 1 of 2

Price Paid:  $0.00

Strengths:
Exceptional sound quality, small box, power handling, look cool, and still loud...impressive.

Weaknesses:
Woofer is solid, I have no complaints

Summary:
I bought the driver after comparing it with a few others. After reading a favorable review in Caraudio magazine, I decided to take the plunge. I have yet to hear a better 10 inch driver, I power two with about 450 watts from an Alpine V12, and they provide clean bass, good mid bass response, and do justice to anything I listen to (I've also used just one for awhile and found it was just slightly less loud, I was surprised at the output). I am impressed with the clarity, and the ability of the driver to still pound when I want it to. Again, amazing woofer for $170...I would put mine against any other ten with a couple hundred dollars of that and I bet I would stay with the audiomobile.

Review 2 of 2

Price Paid:  $142.00 from Audiomobile direct

Year / Model Reviewed:
 2002 2210 S24

Strengths:
Music quality, price, and appearance along with the fact that not everyone has one.

Weaknesses:
I haven''t discovered one yet.

Summary:
In December I bought a 2002 Infiniti I-35 with a Bose stereo system. The car is great but the Bose was lacking in "highs and lows", so I decided to replace it with some speakers that I had in a previous car. The Diamond Audio M561s in the front, Audiobahn 5 1/4" coaxials in the rear doors and MTX 10" sub sounded great. The new headunit was an Alpine with XM satellite radio, again great. (I really love the satellite radio--never even play local stations anymore.) Over the past 5 months I have tweaked the system in set-up and decided to replace the subwoofer and amplifier. After seeing an ad in a car audio magazine, I checked out Audiomobile''s website and their prices were low and reviews of their products were quite high on their quality. Having run across an internet seller of bicycles a few years ago (Airborne Direct) and having positive experiences there, I decided to take a risk on Audiomobile and called them several times asking technical questions. Allen in customer service remembered me from call to call and was very helpful in specifics on the size of the box and amplifier power. The net effect is this subwoofer is much more musical than the previous sub that I had used. With the Audiomobile, there are actually different bass note tones, not just a monotone thump. My interest was/is in music/sound quality, not an effort to boom around the neighborhood. Not only does the Audiomobile sound great, it looks great too. Combine that with a satifisfaction money-back guarantee, 2 year warranty, and a sale price of $142, I am a very happy customer. I recommend this product highly and glad I took the risk. (Now it is time for me to take a ride around the neighborhood listening to XM and enjoying the car''s stereo. Guess I have changed into a "car potato.")
