Review 1 of 6

Price Paid:  $0.00 from Came with car bought

Year / Model Reviewed:
 Autotek 750.1 SS

Strengths:
Great power capability, never gets hot (its a class d), has yet to fail me.

Weaknesses:
none that I can think of.

Summary:
I bought a 96 Integra GS-R (riced out of course) from a friend and included in the price was the AUTOTEK sub in a wavebox, AutoTek 600.4 SS, and AutoTek 750.1 SS. I have had NO problems with either of these amps...I am running a JBL sub on it and I only have the gain up 25% on the 750.1 SS and it still shook the car and those around me...I am now putting all the stuff in my Blazer...

Similar Products Used:
heehee, Rockford Fosgate 200 watt amp with these two crap subs in a sealed box...sounded good for 100 watts per sub though....

Review 2 of 6

Price Paid:  $200.00 from A friend

Year / Model Reviewed:
 auotek ss 750.1

Strengths:
Great power Doesn't get hot

Weaknesses:
None really

Summary:
I have had this amp for 3 years now and it has never failed me yet. Had issues with my ground wire for it and that is it. I would reccommend this amp to anyone who needs a lot of power for their subs. I am running four subs off of this amp. I have two MTX Audio 12" 4000 series subwoofers, and two MMats Professional Audio 10" subwoofers running off of this amp. This amp barely gets warm when I have been running it. I have run this amp for 3 hours straight just beating the hell out of my system and it doesn't even take a toll on this amp. I won't get rid of it until it blows....if it blows.

Review 3 of 6

Price Paid:  $210.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
2002 ss-750.1

Strengths:
Whole lots of power and then more power. Never gets warm.

Weaknesses:
Not perfectly clean bass but not unusual for a class D. No problems as of yet.

Summary:
This is the third amp in this series I've bought and I've definitely been pleased with all three. The ss-750.1 is a prime example of class D power. It is a very very forceful amplifier. This amp is wired 2 ohm to a single Audiobahn aw1200q, at right around 500 watts rms. The amp is not hot or even warm to the touch after an hour of very heavy use. if you were deaf and the light was not on you would not be able to tell the thing was powered up, its that cool. The bass is decently clean, although its not a class a/b so dont expect low distortion levels. Its in line with most other class D sub amps. I would definitely suggest this amp to anyone. A must have

Review 5 of 6

Price Paid:  $290.00 from local store

Year / Model Reviewed:
 ss750.1

Strengths:
nice power handling, hasn't gotten hot yet, only uses a 40 amp fuse so current draw has to be like 80 amp full draw(very efficient)

Weaknesses:
NONE

Summary:
can't afford subs that will use the full potential of the amp but had a few indicators of it's proformance. had a single 12" wired at 3 ohms(450W+rms from the amp now) and the sub was movin the pennies in the change drawer for about 30 mins b4 it croaked. had the gains about halfway up but i guess that was too high. can't wait to get a pari of orion xtr pros or an hcca
