$0.00 Summary: You often hear how these powered Bazooka subs are not to be confused (or sometimes even compared) with a "real" subwoofer setup - i.e., separate amp, box, woofer...the real deal.
Well, maybe so. If you're looking to unhinge doors, stun small animals and generally disturb the peace, perhaps the Bazooka option is not for you.
But if you're interested in fleshing out the music you play in your car with the low-end audio spectrum it was meant to have, then do yourself a favor and consider the all-in-one approach.
I've never before gone beyond good quality door mounted speakers, so only now - a few days after installing the Bazooka EL10A-HP - do I realize what I've been missing: the rest of the music. Between the limitations of even a good deck, road noise and other inherent limitations of the auto environment, I'd long since figured that the low end was meant for home system enjoyment only.
I was wrong.
Really, do yourself a good turn; shop around, verify the reliability of your seller, and dive in. I found mine for $140.00, including shipping. Do some research and you can no doubt do much the same. Then come back here to this great resource of consumer feedback and tell us what you think. Strengths: low price
more low end than I'd expected (and then some)
portability Weaknesses: hmm...wasn't free? Similar Products Used: none
