Year / Model Reviewed:
 vette 88 supercharged

Summary:
OK- HAVE A 88 VETTE SUPERCHARGED, TRACTION WAS A REAL PROBLEM, THIS IS A STREET DRIVEN CAR. I ORDERED THE BFG DRAG RADIAL, LAST MARCH, AND TO NO AVAIL CANNOT GET THEM, SO AS A ALTERNATE, I ORDERED TWO 315X35X17 G-FORCE T/A R1 TIRES, THESE TIRES GRIP, AND I THINK THEY ARE BETTER THAN THE DRAG RADIAL, FOR THE STREET AS YOU DONT HAVE TO ''BRAKE TRQ. THEM TO GET HEAT BUILD UP IN THEM.
I RUN STOCK WHEELS AND TIRES, ON THE FRONT, SO FOR STRAIGHT LINE DRIVING,THE TWO G-FORCE TIRES ON THE BACK, WORK VERY WELL, AND MAY ADD THAT AT ''WOT'' THE CAR GOES STRAIGHT, AS WITH THE STOCK TIRES, STRAIGHT IS NOT THE WORD FOR IT.
PS- SHOW CAR-- WEB SITE http://www.zoomnet.net/~dsddhere
GOT THE TIRES FROM TIRE RACK $180 PC.-- FOR MY TYPE OF DRIVING, I RECOMMEND THEM, IF I EVER GET THE DRAG RADIALS, WILL RUN A COMPARSION, BUT BELIEVE BECAUSE OF THE NEEDED HEAT THAT THE DRAG RADIALS REQUIRE, THAT FOR THE STREET,WOULD NOT BE THE TIRE OF CHOICE, UNLESS YOU BRAKE TRQ THEM.

Strengths:
TRACTION IS GREAT, AND A AWESOME GOOD LOOKING TIRE. FOR THE STREET, STRAIGHT LINE DRIVING, THE WEAR OF THE TREAD IS GOOD.

Weaknesses:
IF YOU LET THE CAR SIT FOR A FEW DAYS, AND THEN DRIVE IT, IT FEELS AS IF THE TIRES FLAT SPOT, BUT DRIVING LESS THAN 2 MILES IT GOES AWAY.

Similar Products Used:
I CAN ONLY COMPARE IT WITH GOODYEARS. [ NO COMPARSION AT ALL ]-''NO TRACTION''

Review 3 of 3

Year / Model Reviewed:
 77 Datsun 280z

Summary:
In my first year of solo2, I used street tires on my stock Datsun. Now, the Datsun isn't the best car in the world stock, and the street tires didn't help. The car is basically still stock, with no interior and cut springs ( a band-aid until I get ground control coil overs). The car is in the midrange of wieght now , and still underpowerd. The BFG's are so good that I can almost hang with anybody on the track, in a basicly stock Datsun Z. They are crisp and tight fealing. The car moves about very easy and quickly with the slightest movement of the hand. Tire wear on the track is good, but listen to BFG and run the recommended 3-4 degrees of negitive camber. You can go way over the cars limits with these tires, but be careful because there is no, or very little warning before they let go on you. The biggest problem with these tires is just getting used to them. It takes a while to find their limit because they are so much higher than any normal tire.

Strengths:
These tires have to be the best choice for solo2. The harder you drive them, the better they stick. You better have a racing harness in your car, because these tire can make any car handle regardless of weight and power! (to a point of course)

Weaknesses:
DONT, i reapeat DO NOT drive these tires on the street - because they will be gone in a week. They are a little pricey too.
