Price Paid:  $0.00 from Acoustic Lifestyle C

Year / Model Reviewed:
2001 Blaupunkt Keylargo

Summary:
I think its a Great unit. cause Blaupunkt doesnt make any junk, there made in germany and are stock in BMW cars.that says alot. I bought my keylargo at Acoustic Lifestyle Custom Car Audio. in wauchula Florida, they have a great selection of Car audio and do custom work at good prices.the guy that owns it has grown up in a family business of custom cabinetry and he knows his stuff. his name is Dale call em up!!! im glad i did!

Strengths:
The Keylargo Features are: 50x4 rms xtra bass 1pr of 2 volt preamp inputs creditcard slim remote orcv tuner w 18 fm presets flip face programable turn on&off message 3 beam lazer pickup,8x oversampling 4 vu meters to choose from constant clock aux input for mp3 or other cd changer input and controls, models cdca08,a071,idc a09. signal to noise ratio is 98 db

Weaknesses:
Even though it only has 1-pr of preamp inputs.I would reccommmend that you get 2 PAC brand sni35 line level output convertors.this will give you a fr & rr set of preamp inputs.as well as the pr it came with. PAC is the best on the market.

Review 2 of 3

Price Paid:  $125.00 from ebay

Year / Model Reviewed:
 2001

Summary:
I bought this unit off ebay. I have never had any problems with it like jason had. He must have abused it or received a defective unit. It reads all cd's that I have thrown at it with no hesitation. The signal to noise ratio on this unit is comparable to a Pioneer head so the sound quality is great. My only complaints about this unit are the lack of more pre-outs, cd titling for single discs, and the fact that it doesn't have an equalizer or high pass filter for use with a sub. Other than that, this is a great head unit for the price. Unlike jason who must have received a defective unit, I would recommend this head unit to other people.

Strengths:
Great clarity for the price

Weaknesses:
Only 1 set of pre-outs and no equalizer

Similar Products Used:
Pioneer, Audiobahn, Eclipse

Review 3 of 3

Price Paid:  $129.00

Summary:
Got this at a good clearance price but have had a lot of "inconveniences" with this unit. It has frequent problems recognizing inserted discs and doesn't work at all with standard PC CD-R's. However, it does work fine with specific "music" CD-R's and has a powerful and clean signal. FM signal reception is far better than any other head unit I have had in the past. Skips more than my old Sony, although still requiring a considerable jolt to do so. Fair deal for the price paid, but would not recommend to anyone else.

Strengths:
Strong amp with a clean DAC

Weaknesses:
Frequent problems with disc recognition (must eject/reinsert), doesn't work with standard CD-R (must use music CDR), prone to skipping

Similar Products Used:
Sony, Clarion
