At first I wasn't very impressed with these speakers. I had them running with a pair of pcx693's off my deck, and they sounded quite harsh and distorted. I must have had a speaker out of phase or something because once I hooked them to an actual amp, they sound fantastic. The amp I hooked them to is a Thump! (Mobile authority) TA1501, which provided about 40watts RMS to each speaker. This is more then the speakers are meant to handle, but as long as I don't drive them too far into distortion I'll be just fine. A small speaker like this doesn't bang out the bass, but they do have a rather good sound, with great trebel response. I would recommend these speakers, but only if you use them with an actual amp. Don't run them off the deck, and they will sound way better. Similar Products Used:
