Summary:
I have owned alot of subs including Kicker, Rockford Fosgate, BOSS, Alpine, and this cerwin-vega has outlasted all of them. This cerwin-vega was my first sub to ever buy and it is still hitting hard! I can't use the sub right now because the box is pretty much falling apart so its just sitting now. I get a pretty good flex out of it. So i bought this sub in 2003 and it is 2009 so i have had it for 6 years.. I would have to say this is a VERY good SUB!

Summary:
I love these subs thtey can pound with the best of them! I have a 12" JLw6AE that can handle 500watts peek w/o distotion, but ny CW put it out like nothing. you guys who are jl junkies get ripped of for subs that look better then they hit ! for tthe price these subs rock! I have 1-800watt Profile amp and im running 4 HED12 SVC's in my dodge avenger. I have made people with high end system look stupid. and the total value of my system is only $ 400 !. Hey if you think im cheap is it my fualt i dont get ripped of! if you have eny Q's hit me up at DTPAUDIO@YAHOO.COM My car club is running pure 12&15 CW/HED/SVC and Pure PROFILE 800-2 amps average subs in a car 4!

HARD CLEAN ACURATE BASS THAT DESCRIBES WHY cerwin vega HAS BEING disturbing the peace for 50 years!

Weaknesses:
No but it makes the compition look lik3e ti is!

Summary:
This sub hit very hard for the price but is really weak. I've bought it 8 months ago and I blew it one month ago. I use it with a MTX Road Thunder 2120 200watts amplifier... I've changed it for a Rockford Fosgate Punch HE 12" sub.

Strengths:
Not so bad sound quality Hit hard

Weaknesses:
Easy to break

Summary:
i got these subs about a year ago and they sound great. Really deep bass. The only problem is they arn't very strong i blew 2 of them already with a profile 600 watt amp
