Review 1 of 1

Price Paid:  $140.00 from My little secret!!

Year / Model Reviewed:
2003 Cerwin vega IT 15.0

Strengths:
Same magnet and speaker structure as its made for ported boxes brother the VEGA Series 15". Tight and deep 15" Bass! Comes with very nice screws and EVERYTHING else needed for instaling it exept an enclosure and screw driver. I get them for $70 (IT 15.0) shipped each and im not a dealer nor am I getting a hook up!!

Weaknesses:
As with most 15 inch subs its probably not going to be as accurate as a twelve. But as of right now it sounds tight and accurate. If it starts to sound less accurate then I will write another review. Also it only has an 800watts max rating unlike the VEGA SERIES which had a 1000watt max rating.

Summary:
From the reviews on the 12" and 10" subs IT I figured that when I got my 2 15"s that they would be great for SQ but not for SPL. When I got them I hooked them Up and gradualy I am breaking them in. As I turn the subs up louder and louder they just keep sounding better and better (so far so good). Maybe the reason the 12.0 and 10.0 model IT's are not loud is because the box recomended for them is only .75-1cu/ft per sub. But when you look at the recomended size for the 15" model it jumps up to 2.75ft^3 per a sub. The bigger the box the deeper and louder the sub will be. So maybe you guys with twelves and tens shouls try a bigger box. I encourage more people to write a review for this sub if you have one because I want to know what other people think of them.

Similar Products Used:
Infinity Perfect 12. They sound great but are highly unreliable. Ive had 4 and they all blew with 500watts RMS each.
