Strengths:
Good acceleration, can't tell the trailer is behind it!

Weaknesses:
Can't keep the black color clean!

Summary:
Great Truck, Comfortable, smooth, Looks Great!! This truck is so much better than my S-10! I can't wait to drive it every day!

Strengths:
Excellent power to weight ratio.Steering feels firm and responsive. Gauges and indicators are easy to read. The controls are easy to operate. Smooth ride.Looks sharp.

Weaknesses:
I don't like a hood that needs a prop rod to hold it up; on any vehicle.

Summary:
Many people complain about the "cheap plastic" interior. Plastic,yes;cheap,no. It feels like I'm going 35 MPH when I'm actually traveling at 55 MPH. At first I thought the speedo was way off,until I confirmed my speed with a GPS unit.I towed a 2 axle, 8x12,enclosed trailer (with trailer brakes),fully loaded, and was not wanting more power or torque except going up the steepest hills on Interstate 77.That was the entire length from South Carolina to Ohio.The trailer had the maximum tongue weight and I had no sway problems.I made a panic stop in the rain,(not while towing)and the ABS brakes did not pull or skid. My overall average MPG is 22.4;and that is in Florida where the the air is hot and humid. I've read numerous reviews about the Colorado before I bought it, and I don't understand the negative comments. I haven't had the same problems.This truck does what I bought it for:commuting, light truck duties, and fuel economy.

Strengths:
Tough truck, Great fuel mileage.

Weaknesses:

Summary:
This is a great truck. It gets 20mpg around town and is very tough off road. I have been towing over 4000 lbs without problems and plan on installing a K&N filter for more towing power.

Strengths:
good engine performance, good pricing

Weaknesses:
poor manufacturer quality control, poor maybe even dangerous braking performance, poor resale value, manufacurer has poor commitment to its customers.

Summary:
I've owned my Colorado 4x4 for approx. 8 months and it has just over 6800 miles on it. It's going back to the dealer next week to have the the cylinder head and valves replaced for what was described to me as a cylinder misfire problem. After reviewing several owner forums it seems apparently that this is not an uncommon problem for the GM I4 adn I5 engine which is used in the Colorado, Canyon and Hummer H3 vehicles.

GM refused to extend the drivetrain warranty on my truck but will extend the warranty on the valves and head.

Having such a major problem occur so early on in my owner experience has undermined my confidence in the truck and in GM's committment to its customers.

Strengths:
You could explode into tomato pulp in the truck and you could still clean it out thanks to the entirely plastic interior.

Weaknesses:
As decribed above the truck is not stable. It does more than just fish tale, it flips around in circles any time you have to make a quick motion, this definitely cuts down on your chances of not colliding with someone while attempting to avoid a situation.

Summary:
I hate this vehicle. It feels like you are driving around a plastic Tonka truck. In addition to that even with sand bags in the back the truck feels unstable and has a tendency to pull when braking and turning. Do not drive this truck if you feel you may need to make emergency maneuvers at any point in time. Braking too quickly or turning sharply will cause the truck to spin.
