Review 1 of 3

Price Paid:  $230.00 from Audio Toys

Year / Model Reviewed:
 2001 Mustang

Summary:
I'm running 2 12" Audiobahn subwoofers off this baby. You would think with the low wattage rating the Eclipse has, it wouldn't make a sound. But actually, this thing bumps! Not to mention how clean the sound it. The guys who sold me it said it has a peak power of 400 watts, so I have 200 watts to each subwoofer(Although each can handle 400 watts) I dont have a bandpass box, all I have is a small, custom made free air box that holds my 2 12's, and it makes a ton of noise. The only thing is that I've heard you can get a better amp for lesser price, but you probably wont get the same sound quality as this one.

Strengths:
small size, clean sound

Weaknesses:
Pricey, it has a lot of power but you can find more power for equal or lesser price

Price Paid:  $450.00

Year / Model Reviewed:

Summary:
The amp works fine, it does everything its sopposto BUT it is not worth the money. larger better amps can be had at halve the cost. When considering an amplifier consider this, Eclipse charges double what their amps are worth and for what?... A stupid bage that says eclipse.

Strengths:
proper reliable operation,good xover.

Weaknesses:
Way overpriced,poor power output,boring,unimpressive

Similar Products Used:
If your looking for an amp check out the pioneer prs series, they have exellent performance and value.
