Price Paid:  $125.00 from eBay

Year / Model Reviewed:
2004 Eclipse PA4212 Sub/Component Amp

Summary:
Extremely clean power. I have the gain all the way up pushing 3 10" subs. The subs have a RMS of 750watts and the amp is only pushing 400watts to them. Though the amp is underpowering the subs and the gain is turned extremely high the amp does an exellent job of delivering quality distortion free power to the speakers. I originally bought two of these amps for each to push a set of component speakers with 130watts going to each side because I bought the beast Eclipse DA7232 2000watt sub amp but have yet to install it. With time I will get there but now I will use it as a sub amp until I can afford the components that I want.

Strengths:
I've push this amp to what I tougt was it's limits and it will not shut off or blow a fuse. 12/24 db slope crossover. Low pass filter option. Doesn't seem to get that hot. After hours of play it was slightly warm.

Weaknesses:
No performance weaknesses. Not the flashiest amp but that's because it was built for the serious competitor not like audiobahn for looks

Similar Products Used:
Other eclipse amps and JL amps.
