2006 xa1000 Summary:
It may look small but it really pushes some watts. no distortion at all. I use it with two power acoustik fubr-12s, but I'm looking to power each sub by it's own xa1000. but even where it's at now it is incredible sound. I don't know how it will sound in other enclosures, but I have it in a sealed box I made with just under 2 cubic feet per sub. I don't believe in ported, but I'm sure it would work fine.
The only problem I encountered was that this thing will pull all the juice out of your battery if you're not running a capacitor (or a high performance alternator). My headlights nearly turned off when the bass hit, but a capacitor fixed that up really well. Strengths:
great sound quality. good clean signal Weaknesses:
kills your battery if you don't have a capacitor
