1996 Eclipse 8252 Summary:
These speakers were original equipment on my 1996 Harley-Davidson Ultra Classic Electra-Glide. They were perfectly adequate for the first few years, until the in-dash unit developed a malfunction that cause considerable distortion in the left output channel. Continuing to use the player with the problem eventually caused the speaker to fail after having put up with a few years of high-distorion input. Had that not happened these speakers would probably still be working fine (only the left one failed). Strengths:
Weatherproof for 12 years. Weaknesses:
Low maximum power capacity.
