Review 1 of 6

Price Paid:  $100.00 from Ebay

Year / Model Reviewed:
2007 Edelbrock RPM mufflers

Summary:
Mufflers are considerably louder than comperable Flomasters. I had them on 1 7/8" pipes and they sounded good, upgraded my exhaust to 2 1/2" exhaust and they are REALLY loud but have a good exhaust tone. They are on a 70 Lemans and have a loud musclecar sound, close to the sounds of Cherry bombs, but better. I am glad they are not on my daily driver as my neighbors would hate me. Sounds as loud as open exhaust, but much better tone. Sound great at idle, but makes you laugh when you rev it, LOUD... Well, Edelbrock RPM series items are race pieces, so expect race sound.

Strengths:
Stainless, small cases, low backpressure, nice looking, no popping on deceleration,

Weaknesses:
Loud.

Similar Products Used:
Flowmasters, Dynomax, Stock,

Review 3 of 6

Price Paid:  $98.00 from Jeggs

Year / Model Reviewed:
 98' Saturn SL2

Summary:
This is a great muffler for the price. It uses durable 409SS and has ceramic packing. This is a good muffler to buy if you have a domestic 4 cyl. Don't go to large on the diam. and your car won't sound like a chainsaw on steroids. This muffler sounds AWESOME when you get on it after 3000 rpm. Good low grunt off idle. Quiet at idle.

Strengths:
Great flow over stock. Good materials. Great sound. Edelbrock name, MADE IN USA, Great sound.

Weaknesses:
I bit of interior sound at highway speed. But that's what a good stereo system is for.

Similar Products Used:
FlowMaster but not on this car.

Review 4 of 6

Price Paid:  $450.00 from SHOshop.com

Year / Model Reviewed:
 1991 Ford Taurus SHO

Summary:
These are really good mufflers, they dont cost 450, thats for the whole cat back, these by themselves go for about 100, but i can understand why they wouldn''''''''''''''''t be good for a z28, no way...The only thing is it has a REALLY ricey sound below 4000RPM, but from 5000RPM on to 7300, they sound awsome. It seems like they are perfect for a SHO, they wont work to well on Z28s and 5.0s, or Sis or Supras, but they work great with this 4 Cam V6.

Strengths:
HIGH Flow, MAKES SOUNDS OF POWER!!! Very good quility.

Weaknesses:
Ricey sound at lower RPMs.

Similar Products Used:
Friend has a pair of blue diamond mufflers on his SHO, there cool, they look loke glasspacks, but his has a ricey sound throughout the powerband.
