from Lordco Year / Model Reviewed: 1988 prostreet chevy C1500 Strengths: Awesome sounding muffler and gauranteed to help draw attention to your muscle car or truck. Allow you to run open exhaust at the track. Weaknesses: Are very heavy compared to other mufflers because of the heavier gauge sheet metal used for these, and need to be painted before installing to prevent rusting Summary: With a 620hp 383 stroker under the hood and 3" duals, these mufflers produce an awesome sound. You can hear the high compression cackle in the exhaust at idle. While cruising at part throttle they produce a very nice low deep rumble and roar under full throttle. But are quiet enough that the police shouldn't stop you for excessive noise. That is if you do have the plates on. Which I would recommend you do for street use. Uncorked these things are loud!!!
