Review 2 of 17

Price Paid:  $90.00 from eBay

Year / Model Reviewed:
 1978 Ford Mustang II

Strengths:
Awesome sound, Getting asked if you're 2.3 4 cylinder is a 351 windsor, compliments everywhere you go.

Weaknesses:
Rusts ridiculously quick, even when painted.

Summary:
I bought one of these for my 2.3 Mustang II after reading several good reviews on various sites hoping it would do the same for my car even though its a 4 cylinder. I Installed it along with my new exhaust system and it sounded great!!! Idle sounds nice and burbly as if there's a demon waiting to be released and above 3000 rpm really comes alive. It gave my cruising rpm (1500 rpm - 2500 rpm) a nice bite and screams like a banshee when I open her up. Uncapped, It's so loud I've set off car alarms!! I always get asked how I got that sound without the ricey buzz.
The only problem I had is that it rusted super quick, even after I painted it. However it still is solid because of the thick case.

Year / Model Reviewed:
1989 Mustang GT 347

Strengths:
quiet and loud. thats it.

Weaknesses:
my car is slower without plugs. so i leave them in at the strip.

Summary:
for starters my car is a sleeper. looks like a stock 5.0. with the plugs in they are quieter than my flowmasters. thats a good thing in my case. you can barely tell the car has a cam. when i take the plugs out, holy! turns everyone sheads and obvioulsy sounds like im running open headers. cant complain

Review 4 of 17

Price Paid:  $180.00 from Lordco

Year / Model Reviewed:
1988 prostreet chevy C1500

Strengths:
Awesome sounding muffler and gauranteed to help draw attention to your muscle car or truck. Allow you to run open exhaust at the track.

Weaknesses:
Are very heavy compared to other mufflers because of the heavier gauge sheet metal used for these, and need to be painted before installing to prevent rusting

Summary:
With a 620hp 383 stroker under the hood and 3" duals, these mufflers produce an awesome sound. You can hear the high compression cackle in the exhaust at idle. While cruising at part throttle they produce a very nice low deep rumble and roar under full throttle. But are quiet enough that the police shouldn't stop you for excessive noise. That is if you do have the plates on. Which I would recommend you do for street use. Uncorked these things are loud!!!

Review 5 of 17

Price Paid:  $200.00 from Lordco in 1998

Year / Model Reviewed:
1986 S-15 Jimmy

Strengths:
The most significant strengths would be sound and flow.

Weaknesses:
They cost me an additional ammount of money in fines. I guess I should have read the fine print, "plugs not to be removed on streets".

Summary:
I had these installed 5 years ago and they still look like new, minus the paint of course. I run dual 3 inch exhaust from a set of 3.5 inch collectors from 2 inch primaries from a 406 cubic inch small block. They sound so good that they cause a lot of conversational situations. I haven’t had the chance to run at the track with and without the plugs removed or installed to compare runs. It has to do with the track officials wanting more safety equipment on my truck or something. Apparently you are not allowed to run below 11.99 seconds, therefore when I hit low 11's they gave me the usual warning, but when I dipped into the 10's my gig was over.
