Price Paid:  $80.00 from Pep Boys

Year / Model Reviewed:
 1986/Camaro Z28

Summary:
Good price if you need tires and dont have any money. I have the gtx 2 now cause the gtx was replaced by it.

Strengths:
They move on the car. Good waranty plan!$5 dollars for nails or blow outs.

Weaknesses:
40k mile rated tire and I had to replace one at 6k miles because of a ball in the tire and it was over half worn. Pep boys said tough you go through the corners to fast.So I got pro rated instead of it being directly replaced. Price went to over $120(for 245/50/16) a piece a 50% increase in 10 months

Review 2 of 4

Price Paid:  $450.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
 1998 Chevy S-10 SS

Summary:
I bought it because of the price and I didn't think that they would be all that great. I was wrong. They outperformed the Goodyear Eagle GA's and the RH's all the way around. Futura makes a very high quality tire for an inexpesive price. They have my business from now on. If you haven't tried this tire yet, you should. Then you would better understand how happy I am with this tire.

Strengths:
Great handling and responce times. I have had no problems with them and I am impressed with how little wear that they have. They wear a lot better than all of the other tires I've ever had before! I even went to a different sized tire and I like the change in it. Factory was a 235/55/16 and now I run a 145/50/16.

Weaknesses:
They do become noisy at times and I found out that they don't do very well in the snow.

Similar Products Used:
Goodyear Eagle GA's and Goodyear RH. Both sets were a 235/55/R16 and they wore really quick compared to the Futura. I had multiple problems with the Goodyears and have had none with the Futura. For the price, you get very good quality and get a great performing tire.

Review 3 of 4

Year / Model Reviewed:
 95 eagle talon

Summary:
if i didn't have alot of money to spend i would buy them, which i don't, but for about $10 to $20 extra you could find a better tire, but like everything else theirs always something better, it just depends on how deep you want to reach into your pocket to get it. Happy Hunting

Strengths:
great cornering, good braking power, even when i lost it in a phew sharp when i was going to fast for the turn, the response was still good, ABS helps of course. great tire for the price. i was ready to rip on these tires, but the more i think about it their not really that bad for the budget minded person, but thier are some weaknesses.

Weaknesses:
I find these tires very hard to keep balanced. After about a month it seems that i have to get them balanced again. i'm not sure if it's the weak insulation on my car or the tires, but seems to me that they are very loud almost like a snow tire at some points. when i get them balanced correctly they seem to quiet a little, but after all the balances i've done it only quiet them maybe half the time. of course that could be the fault of the tire shop that i took it to. which were several. i guess you get what you pay for.

nothing to compare to,i havent owned these tires yet but are about to, they are about the same price for the same style tire. Kumho Ecsta
