Review 1 of 7

Price Paid:  $400.00 from pepboys - Tucson

Year / Model Reviewed:
2005 futura LT 265/75R16

Summary:
Worst tire ever. Bought a set of four for my 2001 GMC 2500. Tires are noisy and never rode smooth on the road. After only 20,000 miles while traveling at highway speed 65mph, had a catastrophic tire delamination of left front tire. Put on spare, then on the way home the right side front had a blowout. Would never buy or recommend this tire to anyone. lucky on one was injured,

Strengths:
Cheap Tire - DO NOT BUY

Weaknesses:
Not able to handle sustained highway speed. Tires are noisy and do not roll smoothly, especially if left to sit for a week or two.

Review 2 of 7

Price Paid:  $316.00 from Pep Boys, Henderson,

Year / Model Reviewed:
2003 Futura plus tour se 225/60R16

Summary:
29,000 Miles Belt separated, causing car to pull right. They keep changing the name of the tires, making it hard to know what you are buying. I just go to a different brand.

Strengths:
I went to this tire for the quiet ride.

Review 3 of 7

Price Paid:  $0.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
1995 vw

Summary:
Garbage, had a blowout and pep boys said the trread pattern had changed so no new tire for me. Not covered under warranty, ended up scrapping the remaining 3 and bought 2 new sets of good tires. 1. Kumoh's good dry traction, no snow traction. 2. Toyo proxies, great traction no noise, undecided on snow traction.

Review 4 of 7

Price Paid:  $0.00

Summary:
Purchased a 4 60K miles Futura Adventurer LT SR rated tires for my E-150 Ford Conversion Van. Lost the first one on the Interstate after the thread separated; it was replaced by Pep Boys with no questions asked. Few months later a second tire lost its roundness and had to be replaced, again under warranty. Last weekend I lost another 2 in a single 600 mile trip, one catastrophically, the other one a few hours later after it developed a “bump” on the side. Today Pep Boys offered to install a new set of tires of my choice, I think I’ll choose Michelin or something similar. These tire cannot handle the stress of prolonged highway driving, they might be ok for going to the grocery store and back

Strengths:
None. Maybe they look ok.

Weaknesses:
They fail under duress. Cheap tire.

Similar Products Used:
Good year and Bridgestone

Review 5 of 7

Price Paid:  $0.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
 1999 Malibu

Summary:
Medium priced tire. Good dry traction, med wet traction, no snow traction. Very noisy tires. Car will not run straight even after 4 alingment jobs. Would not buy or recommend these tires to anyone.

Strengths:
Excellant dry traction much better than the Toyo proxies and Firestone tire the car came with

Weaknesses:
No snow traction at all. Crashed into a guard rail last snow storm. Could not get up even the smallest hill without a running start. Anti lock bracks come on all the time even on wet roads. Very noisy.

Similar Products Used:
Toyo Proxies, Firestone affinity.
