from B & B High Performan Year / Model Reviewed: 1986 Camaro Iroc-Z28 Summary: Back in the mid to late 80s, my stock clutch wore out from a lot of parkway driving. So, I decided to get a known HiPo street clutch. I decided to get the Hayes. I had it installed at the dealership. As soon as I got into the car and pressed in the clutch, I knew something was wrong. The pedal pressed downward way too easily. When I accelerated out onto the highway, the motor rpms would suddenly go upward without feeling any more increase in speed. The bloody Hayes was slipping. the diaphram spring was defective. So I got a Borg-Warner, and I''ve had it for the past 10+ years. If you have a V-8 powered dinosaur like me with tons of torque, the BW clutch is WAY better made....
Sorry Hayes, but you guys cost me a ton of money on that one and I''m not forgetting about it...._ Strengths: Piece O Crap Weaknesses: Failure right out of the box. Thats as bad as anything can get.ê Similar Products Used: Borg Warner
