Price Paid:  $220.00 from Ebay (price includes

Year / Model Reviewed:
 Zeus Gen XI

Summary:
I've had a Boltar XI for a few months now and it POUNDS. Just got the Zeus XI today, so I already know what it sounds like, it's just going to be considerably louder. I just wanted to comment on what Dave Keller said above. Although his model is listed as a 100D? (never heard of that model) he describes the series as class D. The generation XI amplifiers are indeed class AB, thus the exceptional sound quality you hear people reporting. Anyways, thems my two bits. You won't be dissapointed.

Strengths:
- exceptional sound quality
- 1200wrms x 1 @ 2 ohms stable
- will provide tight, clean power to almost any sub(s)
- Looks great, oldschool style, none of that new flying saucer *beep*
- 2 gauge power, balanced inputs, 24db boost @ 45hz in mono

Weaknesses:
- large drain on charging system compared to todays technologies but that's what ya get for SQ

Similar Products Used:
none comparable

Price Paid:  $350.00 from thezeb.com

Summary:
This amp gives out clean power.I have 3 12" hifonic Warrior subwoofers and they slam.I only paid 350 for the amp.So If you are looking for a high price amp for cheap get this one.

Strengths:
clean power big and long looks like a power amp

Weaknesses:
get hot too easy, but that is it

Similar Products Used:
a/d/s gives better clean power, but watts are alot less

Review 3 of 4

Price Paid:  $300.00 from Sonic Electronix

Year / Model Reviewed:
 Zeus 100D

Summary:
I hooked this puppy up to two Orion XTR 12's and wow. At half gain and 2 ohms it is ice cold, and hits the subs so hard my chest hurts. The subs put out more heat than the amp does. Best of all, it is the cleanest hits I have ever heard.

Strengths:
Powerful, clean sound, runs cool, solid price for a 1000 watt class D

Weaknesses:
crossover settings took a few minutes to figure out, manual is worthless.

none
