Review 1 of 2

Price Paid:  $150.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
 Nov-01 CX-62''S 7''s

Summary:
After installing the 7 inch Chameleons in kicks, during the final process i bought the midbass drivers for the doors. I demoed numerous high end gear, Focal, Dyns, Illusions and these drivers just have incredible midbass section. Im running 250 watts a side to each driver and they take it.

Strengths:
strong midbass, midrange section!! I have them bandpassed at 60 htz and high passed at 300 htz. great power handling and very efficient.

Weaknesses:
The magnet is huge and it is actually an oversized 6/1/2 and will fit in a 7 inch hole. Although i have an MDF ring the driver barely clears my window. but...overall with a little work i got them in. recommend alot of deadning because these drivers knock.

Similar Products Used:
Infinity Kappa''s, Kicker, Kenwood,

Review 2 of 2

Price Paid:  $85.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
 IDQ5

Summary:
Hopefully these will turn out to be a good sounding midbass, these will be complimented by a JL Audio 10w6 and 2 sets of Image Dynamics nx-30 tweets. For a follow up on how they sound check out sounddomain.com, under cadillacs, they will be in a 1969 Coupe De Ville.

Strengths:
How well should you mount them? Very well they are extremlly heavy for a 5.25" mid. These are carbon fiber cones and you can tell that these are some awesome, deffinatly High Fidelity Midbass Speakers.Haven't listended to them yet, wasteing all of my time on my mounting pods.

Weaknesses:
Can't see any yet, haven't heard them yet but you can see through the cone (between the fibers) possible trouble but I doubt it.

Similar Products Used:
MB Quart, Clarion, Infinity Kappas, don't know about sound yet but the build quality is much better.
