Review 3 of 5

Price Paid:  $90.00

Strengths:
Sound quality, power handling. Shakes car good too

Weaknesses:
Made in china sticker on magnet. Wish all subs were such good value like these.

Summary:
I bought these subs when I bought some junky jensen dual bandpass box and my 500 watt amp blew one of the seals right of the jensen. So I went lookin for cheap replacement, and I found buy one get one free on these. And they're very good subs. True they're not a kappa perfect or anything, but they're 92 db's and like power. They sound great, even in a bandpass, which isn't really recommended for these. They could hit some lower bass though, 38 htz isn't very low. That's as low as a puny rockford fosgate. But they still sound great. The look like all the other jbl's, but make sure to take the made in china sticker off the magnet incase anybody ever see that:) Now I'm running about 600 watts at 2 ohm mono to these puppies and they love it. Everything about them impressed me, especially at the price I got them. I fullheartedly recommend these for anybody wanting to save a lot of money on some damn good subs. These 2 subs will nearly keep up with my Kenwood HQ sub with 1000 watts max in a 2 cubic foot box. And when only a 1/4 of the price, more than worth it. They also beat my old rockford 12's any day no comparison. 5 db increase is very noticable. Sorry fosgate fans

Year / Model Reviewed:
 1997 s10

Strengths:
Hits low for a 10.Takes little power to pound.Great mids and good lows. Its the best for people who like clarity in low notes and mid.Although it has low power handling it can still embarass people with kicker....BAD

Weaknesses:
Becomes distorted at high frequency, but subs are for low frequency.Low power handling.

Summary:
Overall its the best deal. Its very clear on low and mid.Doesnt faze out and its very durable.Ive beaten the crap out of them and they still run great.
