from Ebay Year / Model Reviewed: 2006 ZR 650 CSI Strengths: Clear, loud, power handling, lack of distortion at ridiculous volumes. Weaknesses: May have to tweak the amp crossover a bit. Summary: These speakers are very clear. They can handle a lot of power. The mid-base is very good. I hear things in songs that I missed before when listening to my older 6 1/2 Infinity Kappas (the ones with the green cone). The speakers play effortlessly. All types of music. These speakers truly complement the sub in my system. I can fade to just listening to the sub & then fade to listening to just the component set. I can tell where the component set is picking up & filling in the sound septrum. Kind of like where it shakes the subs hand & takes over the music reproduction. I have the component set in a VW GTI in a custom door enclosure. They are the only speakers I run besides two JL 10 inch W1s. The system sounds very loud & clear. If you heard it outside the car you would swear I 'm running a 10 speaker system. So far I'm happy with the way the ZRs bring out the instrumentation in music. They play loudly but never blare. Every voice & instrument sounds perfectly in place when you listen to these speakers. A little fiddling around may be required with the onboard crossover on my amp to get the sound exactly where I want it. Similar Products Used: Infinity, Pioneer, Rockford Fosgate, MB Quart
