Price Paid:  $549.00 from Our Store

Year / Model Reviewed:
2007 13w6v2

Strengths:
Voice coil jumpers
Bass Responce
Frequency Responce
dont require large space to get loud
customizable & paintable trim ring

Weaknesses:
13.5" diameter usally requires a custom box, which most dumb consumers don't feel like they need to do.

only one model offered dual 4 ohm

price tag MSRP(but it's well worth it)

Summary:
The most amazing driver, if money is easy to come by.

This subwoofer will easily handle 1000 RMS in a sealed enclosure,

The SQ is unbelivable!
The subwoofer will generate every low note sensation you ever wanted to experience,

Other woofers claim to have the equalibrium woofer of sound quality and bass, well this definatly is the 1.

Review 2 of 2

Price Paid:  $500.00 from Cruisnconcepts

Year / Model Reviewed:
2005 2 Door Cavalier

Strengths:
provides the most impact and distortion free output with Ihave heard with 500 watts, blends in realy well with all kinds of music and can knock your head off with rap.

Weaknesses:
for someone interested in having the loudest system these may not be for you, the sound is very natural and not colored (unlike rockford fosgate subs)for someone who does not know what true sound quality is these may disapoint.

Summary:
I'm not usualy into writing a review but I am thoroughly impressed with this subwoofer, I demoed several different subwoofers (including the W7) in my car before my purchase of this sub, they were all run by a JL 500/1 and a eclipse 8442 this sub by far did the best to my ears off of my amp, I tried both sealed and ported, ported was louder but lost quite a bit of sound quality which is what this sub is all about, sealed the sub still gets to loud but the sound quality is just amazing I am glad that my headunit has a seperate volume control for the sub as this is the first sub I have had to TURN Down to get it to blend with my fronts...my fronts arnt to shabby either (JL XR 6.5"s run by a JL 300/2), I set the gains using JL's method turning the sub volume to 10 rarly does the control go over 4 while listening to music, I am amazed at the impact this sub provides with no distortion even songs that have alot of distorted bass this subs plays them very smooth, usualy I am one to run about 3-4 dbs of bass boost when using a sealed enclosure JL recomendes against using the boost with there w6v2 subs just for the heck of it I tried it used 3dbs centered at 40 with a 1.1 and it realy does ruin this subs sound I can see why it is not recomended to use it. I highly recomend this sub to someone seeking perfection with sound quality for theyre low end, especialy f running around 500-800 watts I have never heard any better for make sure you have a powerfull front stage to keep up, for someone running more amp power than this and wants to go for spl or to just show off I reccomend the W7's and a larger amp.
