Summary:
I currently use three of these in my car with two kicker 350.2 amplifiers and it hits really hard. I think it could take out the new w7 but thats just me

Strengths:
DEEEEEPPPP ACCURATE BASS. Price very reasonable even when not on sale.

Weaknesses:
Sadly. JL Audio is no longer making this one. I have no idea what replaced it.

Summary:
I needed a 15 inch woofer to build a home subwoofer. I found this one on sale for $100. Seeing that it is designed for sealed box use, I built a 3.9 cu.ft sealed box for it and mated it too a 200 watt subwoofer amp. To say that I am happy with the results is an understatment. This subwoofer delivers DEEEEEPPP bass. Whatever bass you don't hear will make its presence felt. I can just amagine how outstanding it would be in an automobile environment.If you can still find one of these, by all means, try it out. It serves my purpose really well and should be outstanding in an automobile.
