Review 1 of 2

Price Paid:  $133.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
 2000

Summary:
Not a huge Kenwood Fan, but not a bad little amp. Works well with a single 4 ohm sub in bridged mono. I hit 129+ with a single RF12 in my tercel. If you''re just looking for a little extra kick, you can''t beat the price.

Strengths:
Good power output in 4ohm mono. Small, easy to install.

Weaknesses:
Only an 80Hz low pass Xover....No pass RCA pass throughs

Similar Products Used:
Pioneer, Sony, etc

Review 2 of 2

Price Paid:  $140.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
 Kenwood KAC-608S 300 watt amp

Summary:
This amp is excellent for someone who wants to add some bass to their vehicle but if you want something that can produce enough power to where people will here you a block away you will want something bigger.

Strengths:
For an entry level amp it certaintly can put out some power. I have this
150 watt RMS (in bridged mode) hooked up to a kenwood 10-inch sub in a bandpass box and with the volume up half way it plays the sub to its limit.

Weaknesses:
None, but someone who wants a serious sound system in their car will want a
bigger amp.
