Review 2 of 9

Price Paid:  $255.00 from Audio Express

Year / Model Reviewed:
 KAC- X201T

Strengths:
Large punch for the money, and the fan is great because it allowas this amp to play when others would just cut out. The blue light is an attention getter but the amp is one of the best I ever had.

Weaknesses:
I can't find any weakness..........

Summary:
This is one awesome amp for the money. I have had other larger amps that didn't have as much punch as the X201T. I'm a Kenwood person so it really didn't surprize me that this amp could be this good. I have it pushing 2 12" excelon woffers and with this amp only half way up and it sounds excellant!

I had some older Kenwood Amps over the years and the just keep getting better and better.

Review 3 of 9

Price Paid:  $250.00 from The Good Guys

Year / Model Reviewed:
 91 Accord

Strengths:
Excellent power, high quality construction. Good instructions and a painless install. That glowing blue power indicator looks great. Too bad the powerslide door covers it up.

Weaknesses:
Granted it is a quality amp but I found it a bit "large" considering the power output. Not complaining, I had to look hard to find this gripe.

Summary:
Retail on this puppy is $320. Walked right into the store and got $70 knocked off the price. Still more then what some paid, but I get the full factory warranty. I have this guy mated to an eXcelon CD deck so I can control the BMS from the driver''s seat. Very convenient. I have it mated to a pair of Fosgate RF1410s in a sealed box and it sounds great. The amp looks slick hanging off the back of the rear seat.

Year / Model Reviewed:
 kenwood kac-x201t

Strengths:
bunch of power, stable at 1 ohm, stays cool

Weaknesses:
needs a big wire to run well, doesn''t work as well as it should without a kenwood deck

Summary:
this amp is great, i have it pushing 3 12''s and they thump, after i upgraded to a 4awg power wire i have had no problems at all,i''m thinking if this thing is good maybe i''ll try a kac-x401t...
