Review 2 of 3

Summary:
If you don't care about CD-R's, then an acceptable unit

Strengths:
Not much really.

Weaknesses:
Several things, but my BIGGEST gripe is that it doesn't read CD-R's. Every one of other CD players do, including a 5 year old factory Nissan unit.

Similar Products Used:
Alpine. Really, the only way to go

Review 3 of 3

Summary:
Good overall, great sound, great CD section, not that good amp section.
Overall 4 -1 for defect :(

Strengths:
It has great definition in both bass and
treble. Ergonomics are top notch with
buttons curve at each side of the unit.
You can usually control it without looking at it, which is good cause you have to look were you are going!
The CD section is exellent as it reads all but the scratchiest CDs and is VERY fast to react. Most of the time, i go from last to first track without noticing it was the end of the CD.

Weaknesses:
I had a problem with loosing bass and volume after an hour of listening. I blame heat protechtion for the onboard amps but, i dont use them and they still get hot so...
It also took forever to have it repaire as all parts were BO :(
