The GS is a 4-door, 5-passenger luxury sedan, available in 3 trims, ranging from the 350 RWD to the 460 RWD.
The 350 RWD is equipped with a standard 3.5-liter, V6, 303-horsepower engine that achieves 19-mpg in the city and 27-mpg on the highway. A 6-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard.
Weaknesses: Need larger wheel size (17" or 18"), e-shift should be at the shift knob, weird shift pattern
Summary: This is the first Lexus car I have ever driven. I am truely give a thump up to Lexus in craftmanship. The acceleration is moderate, but not bad. The audio system is lively, even with Premium Sound System (my GS300 did not come with Nav/Mark Levinston).

Price Paid:
$39500.00
from mcgrath lexus chicag
Strengths: Interior and exterior styling. Smooth
ride yet pretty good handling after I
replaced the undersized OEM tires
Weaknesses: Confused and hesitant transmission at low
speeds. Cheap, undersized tires on an
expensive, high-line car.
Summary: A very good car, but definitely not perfect. The build quality is very good,
yet I had a severe dash rattle, which was
fixed after two trips to the dealer. The
transmission hesitates when accelerating
from less than a complete stop, which is a
constant annoyance. I also find the driver' seat to be somewhat uncomfortable.
The car is a looker inside and out however

Strengths: everyting! except for some minor things
Weaknesses: cupholders, I try to put a bottle of water in
and when I turn the sound system to full blast, the cupholders start to break!
leather seats, I just finished playing a game of tennis, and I seat on the seat with my
sweaty shorts on, It permanetly sticks onto the leather
what material is this really, lexus?
seal fat?
Summary: am I happy! I got this car for a bargain price! cheaper than the base price
of an is300. I even added the mark levinson sound system! a great car with
aggresive yet classy looks. But I wish there was a manual on this baby.

from Tom Williams Lexus
Strengths: Fit and Finish
Smoothness
Weaknesses: Transmission
Handling
Summary: Overall a very good car. I was under the impression that it was more Sports Sedan than a Luxury car so I was disappointed when I realized it was more Luxury inclined. Great highway manners, starts to wallow when driven hard. A little to slow with a transmission that doesn't know the word "sporting".
