Review 1 of 129

Price Paid:  $36000.00 from Lexus of Nashville

Year / Model Reviewed:
2004 RX330

Summary:
This cars has been awful to drive.I have had it in the shop than more than I have driven it . I have had the following problems 1. Defective passenger SRS 2. Continued problems with excessive steering wheel vibration 3. The Dashboards are defective. Every loaner cars has this problem where it the COWL rubs against the dashboard and makes rattling and popping noises. If you can test drive a loaner car RX330, listen to the dashboard. It doesn't happen to around 2 to 3 months. 4. Faulty transmission. 5. Excessive noises from rear cup holder

Strengths:
smooth ride, looks good comfortable

Weaknesses:
Excessive Vibration Faulty Dashboard See above

Review 2 of 129

Price Paid:  $0.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
2003 Lexus RX 300

Summary:
You feel like you are driving on air. It is a wonderful vehicle, however, when I took a curve I thought the car was going to roll over (and NO I was not going too fast). I have a black on black RX (black exterior and interior) and I must say.... Although it looks beautiful and stunninng at night, I have about a million scratches. You cannot prevent them. Someone will scratch your car or the smallest anyhting will get you. I have to clean it atleast once every 4 days!! Other than that, Lexus is wonderful and they treat you well. They have excellent service departments and even wash your car when you get it serviced (that may not seem like a big deal until you get a balck car).

Strengths:
Smooth ride, excellent on gas (for an SUV). That's all I can say for now.

Weaknesses:
Very small inside, handles curves horribly.

Similar Products Used:
Jeep Cherokee (HORRIBLE, poorly made). A luxury car, especially with the quality of a Lexus is worth every cent... I mean dollar.

Review 4 of 129

Price Paid:  $36600.00 from Concord Lexus

Year / Model Reviewed:
2002 RX 300 AWD

Summary:
After much test driving, this was the best in class. My 6''5" frame fits great even with the moon roof. Most other SUV''s tested drove like trucks or transmitted noises into the cab areas. Even Toyota''s Highlander which is built on the same chassis was harsh riding and transmitted the noise of tar strips into the cab. While it is not an off road tpe vehicle - it glides through the snow with ease. The VSC (vehicle skid control) works great if you get the car in a panic slide. The resale value of a 3 yr old RX 300 here in Calif. is very high -within $6,ooo of a new car. The seats are very comfortable on long trips and the kids enjoy the reclining back seats as well. All this and quality workmanship. Make sure you go through one of the internet buying services - their prices were alot lower than what the dealers were offering (and no haggling or pushy salesmen to boot).

Strengths:
Good looks, smooth & quiet ride, comfortable seats, lots of cargo room, great sounding stereo and a high resale value.

Weaknesses:
Would like see cruise and stereo sound controls on the steering wheel. Controls are laid out well on the dash, but several of the main controls all look similar and you have to pay extra attention making sure your adjusting the desired control.

Similar Products Used:
Honda and Mazda vans, Toyota Highlander, Chevy Blazer.
