Price Paid:
$0.00 Strengths: Appearance, good excursion, well built. Good value sub. Good clean hits. Weaknesses: Poor cone control at high levels. Not too many 10''s will hit rock bottom. These don''t. Deep but not rock bottom. Summary: I have 4 of these in a large sealed box with 300 Watts RMS pushing them. They sound quite good for an entry level sub. When I pushed them hard, there was a very slight amount of audible distortion due to poor cone control. (They didn''t bottom out the cone just moved a lot more than it needed to) They could use a stiffer spider. (yes, my box is air tight) I think they addressed this issue with the new P series subs. They have a much stiffer spider. I''ve yet to see the p series in action though.
Total output of the system was impressive for only 300 W. Similar Products Used: Hifonics 10" Warrior series (Deeper and handled high power beautifully) Similar excursion but better output. (These things jiggled your innards from outside the car.)
