2003 Mercedes-Benz 230 SLK

Strengths:
The styling is understated yet elegant for what the auto is. The interior is beautiful and roomy. The top is a dream. For those who are contemplating the Z4, just look how dated the Z3 looks now, and in five years people may ask you "what were you thinking?"

Weaknesses:
It is pricy, only the Porsche Boxter is more. Honda S2000 is really a bargain, but too small.

Summary:
I did my research before buying this auto. BMW Z4 (ouch, from the Ugly School Pontiac Aztec Design). Audi TT Roadster, just too, ah, well, wierd. Honda S2000, not made for anyone over 6 feet. The SLK did it for me. Beautiful interior and exterior. Roomy (for a roadster)

I love this car!!! It's fast, gas efficient, quiet, handles like a dream and I simply can't get the smile off my face!I love the Audi TT from the outside; but, after testing both, there was no question! It's SLK all the way!

Strengths:
The hard convertable top, The sound of the 320 when the tops down, The solid feel of the car.The Dealer''s service has been great.

Weaknesses:
Drink Holders are cheap, Would be nice if it held my golf clubs in the trunk when the top is down. Having to pay xtra for a CD!

Summary:
A great car and to drive for fun.You can''t beat this in the spring or fall! If you have the money and want a fun two seater this is a great pick.

Strengths:
Can't think of one.

Weaknesses:
Top, rattles, creaks, leaks, tires etc. Very poor service from MB. You could get better service from some of the lowest priced cars out there, but hey that is what they try to give you when your MB is in the shop :).

Summary:
This is my second SLK (First was a 1999 SLK 230). Both are VERY VERY bad cars.The 230 was in the shop continualy for top problems and the 320 has been in for problems with the cheap interior and rattling and creaks. Don't count on MB to ever respond to letters or calls either. You always end up with the local rep. Not even a letter back from the regional or international HDQT's. Pretty sad since I have spent over $100,000 on MB cars in 3 years. But hey, they don't care.

Strengths:
Speed, lots of it. 0-60 in 5.2 and thats only because of wheel spin, AMG says if you can control it well, often you can go 0-60 in under 5. BMW M3 ea your heart out! This thing has 349 hp, and it will kill an ///M3. Its amazing!

Weaknesses:
17 inch wheels, no 18's but hey they are perreli's!

Summary:
Hi, I am curently number one on a waiting list in New Jersey for a silver, with black/with silver inserts, SLK32 AMG. I am planning on selling my spot on E-bay for about 5,000. This is reasonable because dealers will be charging up to 8-10k over sticker. Plus this is the number one spot. It should be arriving in about just a month. July 26 is the day it will arrive, although the release date (the day they can sell it) may be a few days afterwards. If you are interested in purchasing not through ebay......I will make deals with people before i put it on ebay. I will be putting it on ebay in about 2 weeks (todays is June 23rd.)
