Review 1 of 5

Price Paid:  $281.00 from ebay.com

Year / Model Reviewed:
2002 D100HC

Strengths:
looks nice in the back of my jeep. i bought it cheap off ebay even though the retail is $1000. doesnt draw lot of power but puts out a LOT of power. ALWAYS STAYS COOL

Weaknesses:
NONE except maybe that it will blow subs if they cant handle the power

Summary:
i have had this amp for about 2 weeks now and i love it. its running 3 audiobahn alum12q's @1.5 ohm on an ohm-meter but i think i have them hooked up wrong. anyway this amp is great and NEVER gets even warm, its always cool. the gain is not even half-way and it pounds my 3 subs. i wont put the gain any higher because im scared of blowing them

Year / Model Reviewed:
 2001 d100hc

Strengths:
Fantastic amp, too many stregths to mention RAW POWER!!!!!!!!!!!

Weaknesses:
One that i found, depending on how you mount the amp its a pain to adjust the gains

Summary:
Phenominal sound quality, never over heats, with the crossover and gain adjusted it will pound with the levels down low premiere kevlar 12" subs

Review 3 of 5

Price Paid:  $700.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
 2000 D100HC

Strengths:
VERY COMPACT, COOLNESS OF AMP TEMP, AND YOU DON'T NEED TO DRASTICALLY UPGRADE YOUR CARS ELECTRICAL SYSTEM

Weaknesses:
THE POOREST QUALITY OF THIS PRODUCT WOULD BE ITS WARRANTY. ONLY ONE YEAR,

Summary:
I WOULD GIVE IT 4 STARS AND THE REASON BEING IS THE PRICE THAT THEY GO FOR. NORMAL RETAIL ON THESE AMPS ARE $1000.00, BUT THATS THE PRICE YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR THE BEST.

Similar Products Used:
ROCKFORD 800A2 , SOUNDSTREAM 1000, AND US AMPS, DEFINETLY BETTER,BUT ALOT HAS TO DO WITH SETUP

Review 4 of 5

Price Paid:  $400.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
 D100hc

Strengths:
This thing puts out a massive amount of power. It is very small(10 by 12) and is very efficient.

Weaknesses:
Lack of a subsonic filter is it's biggest shortcoming. Also wiring connections can't be reached when amp is mounted.A wired sub control would be nice.

Summary:
I got an absolutely great buy on this amp used.I paid $400 for this and a LM4035.The amp outperforms any amp I have owned.I am running it at 1 ohms now but will soon be running it at maximum power.I was surprised that it outmuscled the Boltar(850 watts) since I wasn't running it at its max.
It trades brute strength for extra features but all those extras can be added with a quality eq/crossover.
I have had no trouble with this amp but from other forums it appears many others have. Most of these say they ran the amp at less than rated impedence so be advised.

Similar Products Used:
Hifonics XI Boltar,Rockford Fosgate 225.2.Neither are as powerful.Boltar did have a wired sub control.

Review 5 of 5

Year / Model Reviewed:
 D100HC

Strengths:
Unregulated power supply. With an accuvolt 1500 I am able to crack out around 1800WRMS. Try and find an analog amplifier that will do that with stability for the same price.

Weaknesses:
Do notice some sound characteristics of the digital amp. Some frequencies do not sound the same. Dont know why. They should be but they just dont. Wouldnt recommend the amp for SQ competitors but for SPL there is nothin betta'

Summary:
Paid 1399 Canadian with chrome case. Tax in. Not too bad fer the amp. I would definatley recommend it for people who want lots of sub power but do not want to kill their car's electrical system. This amp draws less power than my Phoenix Gold M100 and outputs far more power. I blew my M100 trying to get power out of it 3 times. Now with the MMATS I am blowing subs. Amp never gets hot, draws less current, outputs needless amounts of power, and looks good. Who wouldnt want one.

Similar Products Used:
Kicks the SH*T out of my phoenix M100,and PPI A1200. But these are analog so really isnt a fair comparison.
