Review 1 of 4

Price Paid:  $150.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
 2001/RT 4202

Summary:
Good little amp... Originally had it hooked up to a pioneer impp 12", then to a Rockford 15", then an audiobahn 15", all the while it keeps pumping out quality bass, even though the subs need way more power, it still pushes a 600 rms 15"....I have definitely gotten my money out of it so far..

Strengths:
strong, way underrated, looks good

Weaknesses:
not quite big enough....but still gets teh job done

Similar Products Used:
pioneer, fultron, rockford, volfenhagg, audiobahn, and just about everything else

Review 2 of 4

Price Paid:  $200.00 from Circuit City

Year / Model Reviewed:
 2002 MTX 4202

Summary:
Great amp. Running 2 JL 12 W0s and I thought it wouldnt be enough power but I cant even turn it up all the way! Thing is awesome. Just using this right now, 10 W7 and 500/1 on the way. Up for sale if anyone wants, brand new 2 months ago. Email sexyazzgcboy03@aol.com, sale for cheap.

Strengths:
Does everything, easy to tune and way underrated

Weaknesses:
Gets warm but never shuts off, so I guess its not a weakness

Similar Products Used:
Rockford 160a2, thats about it

Review 3 of 4

Price Paid:  $199.00 from Circuit City

Year / Model Reviewed:
 MTX Thunder 4202

Summary:
This amp is only 280 watts (140 x 2) and it''s pushing the hell out of 2 MTX Thunder 4000 12''s. I only have the gain turned a little past halfway and the bass level on my head unit is also set about halfway and you can definitely hear me coming down the street. And I don''t hear any distortion.

Strengths:
Underrated (I think). Lots of power from a relatively small amp.

Weaknesses:
None for the price.

Similar Products Used:
Punch 250 watt amp

Review 4 of 4

Price Paid:  $0.00

Summary:
A HIGHLY underrated amp in terms of output. Fac. specs say 50x2 when my birthsheet says 79 watts per channel at 12 v! Ideal to bridge and run some tens (150 w apiece,@at 2 ohms,@ 14.4 v) or some 8''s.

Strengths:
Looks pretty, underatted, good for some comps at two ohms.

Weaknesses:
Bit pricy for the power, but it''s good & clean.
